Senior Chaplain J. Murdock: Why I Give

“I donate to Employee Giving because of the opportunity it provides for me to intentionally engage with our mission statement as it calls for us to live God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope. Specifically speaking, [we need] to be whole as an individual. But in a [broader] sense, when our wholeness as a community is challenged, we need a way to respond to bring our collective self into harmony. Employee giving grants me the ability to play a part in assisting to stitch back together the pieces that have been displaced for those experiencing hardships.”
