Development Council Spotlight

Michael Ryan

“After spending 30+ years in the U.S. Air Force and then another 20 years performing systems engineering tasks for a nonprofit in the National Security Space Enterprise, I have moved on to my third career learning how to be a farmer growing organic walnuts and organic wine grapes. Adventist Health has provided exceptional healthcare to me and my family, and I think it is important to give back. I am also thankful that Adventist Health is a faith-based health organization. Lake County, based on per capita income, is the poorest county in California. There is an exceptional need for healthcare and other services. We must care for our most vulnerable. That is why I am privileged to serve on the Adventist Health Clear Lake Development Council.”
