Golf Tournament a Success!

Jul 5, 2024

Our community came together for the 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course. The day was filled with friendly competition, and most importantly, a chance to enhance cardiac services for our community by supporting the Every Beat Counts cardiac services expansion initiative.

The event was a huge success! We raised $40,000 and participants enjoyed a day of golf while also supporting a great cause. The funds raised will help acquire a second updated cardiac diagnostic ultrasound machine. This new equipment will provide 3-D imaging of the heart, allowing for faster scan results and quicker exams. This means that our patients will have greater access to care when they need it most.

Every gift counts for Every Beat Counts!

Did you know Lake County is higher than the state per-capita average for individuals that have coronary heart disease? It is a top cause of death in this community according to county health ranking statistics.

In 2023, Adventist Health Clear Lake Foundation set out to obtain two new AI cardiac ultrasounds, the first of their kind in Lake County to detect more accurate cardiac results and to use as a preventative tool. The fundraising goal was $300,000. Today, we have $40,000 left to raise! In the first quarter since purchasing the first ultrasound in December, more than 800 patients have been screened! Please consider making a gift in support of this life-saving initiative today.
